A modern living room featuring a beige sectional sofa with textured throw pillows, a marble-top coffee table with gold metal legs, and a large blue abstract wall art piece on a light stone wall.

For this project Decca worked closely with Lisa Miao of Taylor Howes to develop a number of key pieces for the public areas. The lobby has two expansive curved sofas, with matching curved consoles behind them.

In the spa area, the cabana was developed using marine ply and quick‑drying foam, ensuring resilience against humidity while preserving the serene, contemplative atmosphere of the spa’s tranquil retreat.

The standard Occasional Console was customized by replacing its gun‑metal powder‑coated base with PVD‑coated stainless steel, achieving a brushed brass finish that complements the wall installations and accessories throughout the project.

This console was positioned throughout the public areas, with a prominent presence in the lobby, where its form and proportion quietly reinforce the spatial narrative of warmth and refinement.

A modern interior scene with a dark textured reception desk in front of a warm wood slat wall featuring a metallic horse-and-crown emblem, next to a light stone column and a small table lamp.

The fun part of this project was creating ‘The Golden Unicorn’. The logo for One Kensington was created from a printed logo and then re-scaled so that it could be produced in stainless steel. Finshed through PVD coating, the piece was refined to match the metalwork with the rest of the scheme.

Through precision in scale, execution, and finish, the emblem transforms a graphic symbol into a tactile expression of place.

Among the larger bespoke pieces was a bespoke boardroom table, which has a single piece of white Cararra marble with a PVD coated pedestal base surrounded by a high gloss timber frame. The composition balances geological permanence with refined joinery, offering both tactile gravitas and technical precision.

A modern living room scene featuring a beige upholstered armchair in the foreground, a matching armchair behind it, a round glass-top coffee table with gold legs, and a white sideboard with decorative vases and a potted plant.

The familiar Bolier coffee table was reinterpreted from its standard round form into an elongated oval, a subtle shift that introduces a sense of spatial fluidity. The adaptation demonstrates Decca’s ability to refine established models into bespoke expressions of elegance.
