The brand-new Estée Lauder China Innovation Research & Development Center in Shanghai, designed with precision by Gensler, is a five-story, 11,868-square-meter facility that serves as a global hub for cutting-edge scientific research.

The campus embodies a people-first design philosophy, seamlessly integrating state-of-the-art laboratory environments with inviting, collaborative office spaces. The new center features specialized laboratories, offices, meeting rooms, and a range of employee amenities—including a restaurant, outdoor terraces, landscaped courtyards, and a wellness center.

Decca is honored to once again collaborate with our long-time partner Gensler, providing furniture for the meeting rooms, fifth-floor public areas, and the restaurant. In the meeting spaces, Decca’s Float series conference tables set the tone: large meeting rooms are enhanced with elegant Calacatta marble surfaces, creating a bright yet refined atmosphere, while smaller rooms feature light bamboo veneer tops for a simple, natural aesthetic.
