Cradled within the rolling mountains of Jiuzhaigou, the Rissai Valley Reserve is shaped by a distinguished team: WATG’s architectural vision, the late Jaya Ibrahim’s interiors, and John Pettigrew’s landscape design. The ensemble dissolves into its natural setting, with materials, finishes, and curated antiques chosen to echo the spirit of place and establish a strong local connection.

For this project, Decca furnished every public space, including the lobby and reception, lounges and restaurants, retail and elevator lobbies, outdoor terraces, fitness and pool zones, and the spa building itself.

Each piece was conceived to harmonize with the Reserve’s architectural proportions while meeting the unique demands of a highland climate. African mahogany and teak were selected for their resilience, and structural detailing was engineered to adapt to the local temperature and humidity.
